Rickman Store in North Carolina Hosts Barter Day

Bartering will be coming alive at the Rickman Store this Saturday in celebration of the 85th Anniversary of the first transaction that Tom Rickman and Eva Bryson did in 1925 when she traded three eggs for a spool of thread.

A full day of entertainment is planned for the celebration. Check it out if you are in the area.

Rickman Store is located 7 miles north of Franklin by Hwy. 28 next to Cowee Elemantary School.
