As part of an internal program to help reduce the medical suffering in a rural part of Arkansas, the Bono Clinic is offering to do trade, direct trade, for medical services every Thursday. Patients can bring in a chicken, like in last year’s infamous chickens for checkups media disaster, or jars of honey or anything else of value.
Dr John House, the physician in charge, says it’s his way of giving back and helping the community.
