…but it isn’t great either. I like the interviews with members. I like the montage of photos from the christmas show. What just doesn’t work for me is the photos that are displayed during the interviews. For example, one of the interviews is with a painting company, and while they are explaining what they do and who they are, the pictures paired with that sound bite are pictures of food and booths from their show. This would have been great instead if they had pictures of each member’s work or examples of what they do. As it stands, it’s pretty weird to watch.

(Bristol, Connecticut ) – Barter Business Unlimited, the region’s leading barter exchange company for business owners throughout the United States, announced today that it will be holding its “Stars Of Barter” 2010 Expo at the Bradley Hotel & Conference Center on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 4 to 9 p.m. Over 3,000 business professionals along with their employees, friends and relatives are expected to attend one of nation’s leading barter exchange events which will include over 100 exhibit booths, entertainment, a live and silent auction along with food and refreshments.

“We expect millions of dollars to be exchanged during and after our 2010 barter expo. Barter has become one of the most valuable tools for company owners and managers involved in practically any type of business. Especially during these challenging economic times, barter has allowed companies to save cash and utilize unused inventory and services while increasing sales and revenues,” said Debbie Lombardi, president, Barter Business Unlimited (BBU), Bristol, CT, www.bbubarter.com.

The Bradley Hotel is located at 383 South Center Street, Windsor Locks, CT, phone (860) 627-7762, www.bradleyhotel.com. From I-91 south take Exit 41 and from I-91 North take Exit 42 then take a right onto Rt. 159. This year’s sponsors of the barter expo include Barnum Financial Group (www.barnumfinancialgroup.com), Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame (www.ctbhof.com), Glacial Energy (www.glacialenergy.com) and the Bradley Hotel. In addition to BBU members attending the event, all business owners and managers are invited to attend the barter expo and experience the advantages of barter just by presenting a business card and proper identification at the entrance. Significant membership discounts are available to all new members who sign-up at the expo and corporate sponsorships are still available as well.

“It’s a great opportunity to host the Barter Business Unlimited 2010 Expo. Traveling from Virginia to Maine, business professionals will be visiting our hotel and conference facility to discover the ‘world of barter’. Thousands of people are expected as they trade their products and services utilizing barter as a smart tool,” said Jacob Weil, marketing director, Bradley Hotel. “Our hotel has been a member of Barter Business Unlimited for many years now. We’re making arrangements for over 100 barter member booth exhibits that include companies involved in almost every area of business — from healthcare, entertainment, office supplies, retail to financial and legal industries, dental care, pet care, hospitality and many other areas.”

A few of the BBU event exhibitors include Goodwin College, Black Eyed Sally’s Restaurant and ImageWorks. “I’m looking forward to even larger barter show this year. As a BBU member, the expo is a great opportunity to network and increase your sales. I also use the expo to start my holiday gift buying season for friends and clients” said Kris Rutkowski, owner, Tri-City Trading, New Britain, CT, www.tri-citytrading.com.

“We are expecting well over 1000 people to our Annual Business & Holiday Barter Show. Because of these tougher economic times, business owners have really been leveraging barter as an important business tool to seek new sales and revenues.
