NuBarter, a multi-office barter exchange with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, has been accepted as a top 5 finalist in the Forbes.com “Boost Your Business” contest. The grand prize winner receives $100,000 in cash and advertising. Gary Field, the president of NuBarter, was recently flown to New York City and presented the exchange to a committee of expert judges. During the presentation he explained, “The biggest obstacle we have is education people about the way barter can function today, and the way our barter network is different and better than many of the large, established networks. If we win this contest, a good portion of the $100,000 will be used to increase awareness.”
