Eric Wood, of BarterIndependent.com and Merchants Barter Exchange, has continued the smear campaign against ITEX in an article published Monday.
The self described “online and business development ‘guru’” takes new exception to ITEX policies, in particular with the written terms and conditions.
My point view is that the concept of the fees themselves is bad…
The more complex you make it, by adding fees, terms and conditions, etc., the less likely that someone will be able to understand and adequately use the program. The ITEX terms and conditions weigh in at over 20,000 words.
Eric goes on to insinuate that ITEX has a widespread problem with price inflation, that ITEX and other exchanges have a responsibility because of their size (though what that responsibility is, he does not say), and that ITEX members are overall an unhappy, complaining bunch of business owners. This from “a tireless advocate of barter”.
