Appearing on my radar this week is a new clothing-specific internet site that hooks up anyone looking to swap threads.
Here’s how it works, according to their site:
According to the New England Journal of Technology,
The company began last year allowing customers to swap boxes of used clothes by listing the contents online and using pre-paid shipping labels provided by Thredup. Founder James Reinhart now says Thredup will likely focus “90 to 95 percent” on kids’ clothing swaps.
