For the third month in a row, VirtualBarter’s development and design team updated its vBarter trade exchange management software with numerous enhancements and new functionality that improves a trade exchange member’s online experience, increases trade velocity and provides enhanced prospective member contact management.
VirtualBarter provides its vBarter enabled online exchanges with a software update each month adding new features to an impressive list of current functionality, while consistently improving the user interface. The following list details just a few of the the new features and enhancements recently added to the vBarter software.
Rollovers - Mouse rollovers have been added throughout the management site that display a small pop-up with member contact info, which makes it faster and easier to provide a member with contact info for another member.
Join Form - The display time for the Join form on the member site has been cut in half. And, a new enhanced Join form is in the works for release in July that will direct and compel new members to numerous calls to action.
Join API – Enables companies to populate their vBarter exchange with new members from account applications displayed or embedded on other websites.
Prospective Member CRM: This new app provides contact relationship management for prospective members. The new CRM App provides all of the action buttons exchanges are accustomed to using for Member management. And, when a prospective member is ready to become an active member in an exchange, simply click on the button to convert their prospective account to an active member account.
Activity Log - This enhanced report displays additional Login Activity for members, brokers and Admins.
No Item Listings - This new report displays members that have not listed an item in your exchange’s online marketplace.
Add Account - You can now also add a Member to your exchange while in the back-end management system.
Referral App: A new app has been added to the vBarter software to easily send referrals to members who request contact information for a member or members that provide the product or service they are looking for.
Online Loyalty Postings – new app for barter exchanges participating in the vBarter Consumer Loyalty Program that enables members to post Loyalty & Reward dollars from their member account to a consumer cardholder account.
Recurring Billing App: For exchanges that prefer to charge a monthly fee on the anniversary date the member joined rather than in a monthly batch, this app automatically processes a cash fee each month to a members credit card or checking account on the day of the month that they joined the exchange.
Auto-size images: To improve the look of the marketplace, all images uploaded with items are auto-sized to the appropriate size, so item offers with oversized images will not distort pages in the marketplace.
Enhanced footer: In order to remain in compliance with new MasterCard and Visa regulations, two new pages for Privacy and Cancellation & Refunds Policy, and the ability to manage and customize the content on the pages have been added to the footer of all vBarter exchange sites.
Browser Title bar: The browser title bar has been changed to provide for better SEO and also to minimize the display of vBarter branding.
1099b Reporting: New filter settings have been added to the 1099b Reports to eliminate manual editing and simplify eFile reporting.
Statements: A Print button has been added to the statements on both the member site and the manage site. Members and admins can now display and print or email a “printer ready” individual statement.
Member Login: Two additional login and password fields have been added for each member so that each account can now have up to three different logins. Ideal for an account owner to provide login access to bookkeepers, barter account managers, etc.
Online Marketplace: A new screen display has been added to the marketplace that includes thumbnail images and additional details about the item offers.
Gateway Account: VirtualBarter now offers exchanges an additional Gateway option as an alternative to Authorize.net, with its own processing gateway to automatically process member fees to credit cards or checking accounts. Features include automated processing, virtual terminal, recurring transactions, ACH charges to checking accounts and full reporting at pricing approximately 30% less than authorize.net.
Google Analytics – provides visitor statistics for your vBarter site pages.
