Either someone has very little work to do or very poor taste in marketing. It looks to me like one of the developers at www.barterinn.com was more concerned with experimenting with the newest online 3D rendering software than actually making a marketing piece that works. There is no voiceover, no instructions, no hook, just a slowly panning camera amidst 3D objects, one of which just happens to be the Barter Inn. Terrible.

Wow. This is really horrific stuff. Their website could use some major help too. I’m guessing that they are a barter exchange right? I mean, you can’t tell from their website or their video other than the word “barter.”
Looks like my opinion is different. I like the video/background music and to me it doesn’t look like it needed any voice over. Saw some other barter ads with voice overs that made it sound too cheesy, and make you want to scream “shut up!”…With “Trade by Barter” as a tagline and less unnecessary information, it breeds a sort of inquisitivity in any viewer to want to check out their site. Could turn around to be an advantage on their side i guess…Just my opinion though.
My gauge is television. Could you see this being a successful television campaign? I can’t. And its not going to win an Addy either.
