Facebook, the current popular tool of those using social media, is burgeoning with barter. Not only are barter exchanges setting up accounts and fan pages, but Facebookers are forming barter related groups to stimulate local direct trades.
One such group, the Bundaberg Barter Group, has only been open since March 26th, yet has 116 members, 26 messages, two requests for barter, and probably will be setting up events in the local area.
Watch for more of these kinds of groups popping up in Facebookland.
